Qalam Group of Schools is the realization of the vision and dream of Moulana Abdul Quddoos Azhari to repicate the success of his Australian International Islamic Collage, Brisbane, Australia in his home village of Periyapattinam in Tamilnadu, India.

It is the lifelong ambition of the Moulana to provide an educational system which balances text books with moral and religions values so as to produce generations of capable, intelligent and visionary future leaders with strong universal human values.

This vision came to fruition in the year 2012 with the construction of a school building and infrastructure at a value of Rs. 3 crores. The Al Qalam Nursery and Primary School thus became a reality. All praise to Allah Almighty.

Al qalam, which is an English-medium School, caters to the demand for quality educational in Periyapattinam and its vicinity. It also relievs the predominantly housewife population of 20,000 in periyapattinam from having to send their children to other places such as Ramanathapuram.
